George Gaia Holmes
THE MACROBERTS TRUST
Hi, I’m George and I’m a gardener. One of the many who got into it because I wanted to improve my well-being by working with nature.
If I’m not out pruning or weeding, you can find me overwatering my houseplants, recording my podcast, playing video games or overwatering my houseplants… some more.
I joined the YPHA to meet like-minded people and I love the feel of the organisation so far.
I became an MHFAider because we all need a shoulder from time to time, especially one that is non-judgemental and, having been diagnosed with chronic anxiety myself, I know what it’s like to struggle.
Whether you feel fine, or are having a complete meltdown, we’re all here for you.

Jess Dabell
MEADOW STONE VIEW
Becoming a MHFAider provided me with invaluable skills and knowledge to recognize the signs of mental distress, offer empathetic support, and guide individuals toward professional help when necessary.
I hope to be seen as an approachable, friendly confidant for those in need.
Through my dedication to mental health nurturing, I hope to see a shift in the horticulture industry, where individuals feel empowered to address their mental health and seek assistance without judgment.
By raising my profile in the industry and embracing the role of a Mental Health First Aider, I am taking tangible steps toward making this a reality, one conversation at a time.
